The Martins

The Martins recently called me to do 2-year portraits for their little girl. I was told there were exactly zero photos from the 1-year portraits where she was not crying. Surely the child they brought last Saturday for our shoot was not the same person. You be the judge.  Jessica & Dustin, I hope you enjoy this sneak peak. Can’t wait to show you the rest.

Serendipity; The Unplanned Mini-Session

So I was tooling around the Dallas Arboretum yesterday prepping for a shoot on Saturday when I see this litte girl playing in her dress, unaware of the world, in the great big middle of a green, green lawn. Her mother was kind enough to let me snap a few pics on the fly. I gave her a card, so hopefully she will visit and see how GREAT these turned out. Oh, and this little girl knew what cameras were for. I wish I’d had an hour with her. Enjoy.

New Website On the Way

Hello loyal, faithful followers, visitors, and people who accidentally clicked a link to arrive here. A quick note to let you know that the brand new (drum roll…) Dustin Baker Photography website is on the way. Expected arrival early July. It will live at the same URL, and the blog will still be here to get up info and preview pics on recent sessions, but we are very excited about the new look we have in store for you. Other goodies will include ordering / proofing right from dbphoto.biz, and lots more sample work. So…stay tuned. Thanks y’all.
