Fun with Trevor (1 1/2)

Had a great time this past Saturday in Plano at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve with my little buddy Trevor and his mom and dad. We not only took lots of great pics, we also walked ALL over the park. His mother, who was wearing tall heels, was quite the sport. The only time Trevor was unhappy was when we made him stop and sit down. But even then he was sweet as can be. Here’s a sneak peak of a few of my favorites from our session.

Photos for Christmas

This family is the first one I shot after starting DB Photography in February, so I jumped at the chance to capture some more images for them in time for use on their family Christmas cards. They had also been wanting to do some basketball shots, as their little guy is a baller. He is a looker too. Hope you all enjoy.

Welcome Celeste

Little Celeste is the brand-spanking-newest baby I’ve gotten the chance to shoot since my last one was born. We took these a couple of Saturdays ago when she was 16 days old and she SLEPT the whole session long. Too bad that doesn’t last. But we got some awesome shots. Here are a few of my favorites. Can’t wait to show the rest to Mom & Dad.

Helper

Sometimes when my wife and I sit and talk about what we’re going to do when we grow up, we talk about a big old fixer-upper that we will turn into a portrait studio and we talk about how our kids will help with the “family business.” We’re a long ways away from that, but it is neat to get little glimpses. I got one of those today when my 5-year-old came along on a shoot to help out. She was very enthusiastic for most of our 2-hour shoot, and I got this picture of her holding up my metering / white balance target. This captures the gleam that was in her eye most of the morning. What an awesome little helper.
